It's an evolving landscape that is driven by the audiences that enjoy these shows. More and more independent content is evolving in ways that, just a few years ago, we'd never dreamed they would. The creator economy is growing - adapting to the needs and desires of your audience is crucial to adding value and staying relevant in your creative space!

TKFM Quick Hits #21: "Authenticity Hits Differently!"
Tuesday Apr 21, 2026
Tuesday Apr 21, 2026
In music, in social media content, in life in general, authenticity hits differently...
Your audience, whoever that may be, can spot this a mile a way. Are you being you, or are you being you trying to be something else that's not authentic to you? This is a weird space, because we're all vying for attention in the world and often try to twist and turn to accommodate what draws that attention.
It's a fine line of experimentation versus inauthentic behavior - and one I'm finding challenging navigating the world of social media and content creation to get my music and my brand into as many eyes and ears as possible. I'm fervently hopeful my efforts are as authentic as possible, and I'm constantly evaluating whether or not they meet those personal expectations.

TKFM Quick Hits #20: "Lifelong Learning - Don't Crystalize!"
Saturday Apr 18, 2026
Saturday Apr 18, 2026
My path with education was not typical...
I took breaks in my undergraduate path. Many. It took me 12 years to finish that journey, then I took a year off, then proceeded for 4 years to pursue and obtain my masters degree.
Although I don't recommend taking 12 years for your undergrad, immediately following a 4-year degree w/a masters in your 20s is not always the answer, either. Experience plays a key role in hiring and what value you bring to the table in any work you pursue.
Chris Rapozo and I discuss this path here, and how lifelong learning is crucial to a life worth living. Join us!

EP090: "Alexander Nakarada - Spring '26!"
Thursday Apr 16, 2026
Thursday Apr 16, 2026
This week, Alexander Nakarada and I regroup to discuss motivations and statuses following the grueling Norwegian winter and my hiatus since hitting 1,000 published tracks. Turns out, the deep freeze and hitting a major milestone have similar causes for pauses!
That said, we often connect at the right time to motivate one another in our songwriting journeys. Urgency is a function of discipline and consistency when you're building for yourself - so having friends that help motivate and encourage are 100% the best friends :)
